Full job description

We're hiring a Food Safety Coordinator for our Quebec City location.

About Riverstone Dairy Processing

Riverstone Dairy Processing is a regional food manufacturing group with 12 locations across eastern Quebec, headquartered in Quebec City. Founded in 2012, our plant and production staff serve clients and customers throughout the region with a hands-on, locally rooted approach.

About the role

You'll run the food safety program day to day: verifying critical control points, auditing sanitation and temperature logs, and coaching production staff on proper practices. You'll investigate deviations, document corrective actions, maintain HACCP plans and records, and prepare the facility for CFIA and third-party audits. When something's off, you'll have the authority and the responsibility to stop the line until it's right.

What you'll bring

You have food safety training and experience in a production, processing, or commercial kitchen environment. You know HACCP, keep meticulous records, and can correct a line worker's practice firmly without souring the relationship. You treat audits as proof of a program that already works, not a scramble.

We screen on fit and skill, not on perfect resumes. If you can do the work, we want to hear from you.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in food safety or quality assurance in a food production environment
  • Working knowledge of HACCP principles and sanitation standards
  • Strong documentation habits and experience preparing for regulatory or third-party audits
  • Eligibility to work in Canada

Benefits

  • Boot and tool allowance
  • Annual safety bonus
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Continuing-education funding for trade and technical certifications
